How much does a Studyclub session cost?

Each Studyclub session costs 200AED for a 2-hour session.

How many students attend each session?

Currently, sessions are capped at a maximum of 10 students.

Who supervises the sessions?

All sessions are supervised by experienced British and IB teachers.

How old does my child need to be?

Studyclub is designed for secondary school students aged 11-18.

Is Studyclub tutoring?

No. Studyclub is not a tutoring service.
Students bring their own schoolwork, revision materials, or study tasks.

How is Studyclub different from one-to-one tuition?

One-to-one tuition focuses on teaching content. Studyclub focuses on helping students to organise their tasks, set goals and stay on task, by providing structure and accountability. Studyclub complements tutoring by supporting productive study between lessons.

What do students study during a session?

Students work on their own schoolwork, which may include:

  • Homework
  • Revision for upcoming assessments
  • Coursework or assignments
  • Independent study tasks

Can you help students if they are stuck?

Yes, we can help students understand task instructions, break work into manageable steps, and guide them with questions to move forward. We do not teach new content or replace subject tuition.

How is Studyclub different from sitting in a café with friends?

While cafés can feel productive, they are not designed for focused study. Studyclub provides:

  • A quiet, structured environment
  • Clear expectations around behaviour and focus
  • Active supervision by experienced teachers
  • Accountability and gentle guidance

Is Studyclub suitable for neurodiverse students or students with executive function challenges?

Yes. Studyclub is an inclusive and welcoming space. Many students benefit from the structure, routine, and calm environment, as well as gentle guidance with organisation and task initiation.

Are food and drink options available?

Yes. The LoLo House offers a fantastic menu with plenty of healthy food and drink options. Studyclub clients receive 10% off during sessions.

What does my child need to bring?

  • Their own schoolwork, homework, revision, or study tasks
  • Any materials they need, such as books, stationery, or a laptop

Studyclub does not provide set work, as students focus on their own school requirements.

Do you give feedback to parents?

We are happy to share feedback on focus, engagement, and study habits. Our aim is to support student independence, while offering reassurance to parents.

How does Studyclub support parents?

Studyclub offers peace of mind. Parents can feel confident that their child is:

  • Working productively
  • Using study time effectively
  • Building independence and strong study habits

This helps reduce stress and pressure around studying at home.
