I've been teaching for over 15 years, including 8 years in a school setting, specialising in secondary Science, with experience across the IB, British, and Scottish curriculums. I find it genuinely rewarding to coach students toward independence and confidence in their work.

As a student, I struggled with procrastination and staying focused, especially in loud, busy environments. I learned a little too late that home isn't always the right place to work. Studyclub exists because I often think about how different my own experience might have been with a space like this.

I aim to be supportive and encouraging, while still holding students accountable and helping them build habits that actually stick. AI and digital tools have made curriculum content more accessible than ever but they still can't make you sit down and start. That's what we coach.

I've been teaching for 10 years, and I'm highly experienced in the British Curriculum, including I/GCSE, A Level, and BTEC Business. I hold a PGCE in Secondary Education and a degree in Equine Business Management.

School was overwhelming and distracting for me, and it showed in my grades. I had to teach myself my Maths GCSE before I could train as a teacher. That experience is exactly why I care so much about helping students who find the school environment challenging and overwhelming, I know firsthand what it takes to turn that around.

I aim to create a balance between encouragement and accountability, helping students build habits that last well beyond school the kind of structure that makes the real difference over time.
